Hi, I’m Amy Stahl, founder of You Got This Tutoring. I’m a former public school teacher with over 30 years of experience in classroom teaching and private tutoring, working with students in grades 7–12.
I specialize in middle and high school math including Math 7, Math 8, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, College Algebra, as well as SAT and ACT test preparation. I’m also the author of Painless Pre-Algebra State Test Review Book, which has been used by students nationwide.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every student can learn with the right support, structure, and encouragement. I focus on building strong academic skills while also helping students develop confidence because when students believe in themselves, everything changes.
Whether a student needs targeted support, test prep, or ongoing academic guidance, my goal is always the same: to help them feel capable, confident, and successful.
I look forward to working with you and your child!
You Got This.
Opening a dedicated tutoring space has been a long-time dream of mine. I wanted to to build an environment that feels calm and intentional; a space where students can slow down, ask questions, work through challenges without pressure, and develop real confidence in their abilities.
More than just a place for homework help, this is a space designed to encourage growth, focus, problem-solving, and independent thinking so students can leave a session feeling more capable than when they arrived.
